When a pregnancy has been confirmed, pregnant ladies should book an appointment to see the midwife who will complete the necessary booking forms. The midwife will then contact you again between 12 and 14 weeks. The ante-natal clinic is on a Wednesday afternoon between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm at Honley Surgery . Women are seen in this clinic by appointment, initially on a monthly basis from 20 weeks. The appointment interval decreases as the pregnancy progresses.
Postnatal Care Patients will be contacted and asked to attend the surgery to see their GP within 10 days of delivery. At that appointment, appointments will be given for a post natal examination and baby’s first immunisations at 8 weeks.
